Whats wrong with my Beardie, he looks like he is dying?
Can’t stand Alpaca’s asked:
I have a Beardie, which is approx. 7 inches long and is at the current housed in a 10-gallon aquarium (I plan on increasing to 40 soon.). The past two weeks his eating habits have deteriorated with each day to the point now where he simply will eat nothing. We’ve tried greens, crickets and mealworms. He lies around on the bottom of his tank overnight, whereas he used to sleep on the branches provided in his tank. Today when we checked on him he was sleeping from a branch with his four legs dangling off and they were twitching. I need immediate help to make sure he doesn’t die, please help!

Lack of blood loss just a guess though I would constantly rub his body to help with circulation until I got him to a vet. Keep him well hydrated too helps with blood flow. He needs to go to vet asap You should see if his tongue is pink or if its like a white in color the lighter the tongue the less blood he has.
mealworms
it could be his hibernation period b/c during that time they won’t eat at all or just a little each day..as long as he’s not losing weight he should be fine but if you feel better about taking him to a vet, there’s no harm in that. My gecko is doin the exact same thing and usually when we gets like that he’s either shedding or hibernating.
